 Melanie Pensak is a Certified Mindfulness Teacher and CIRS Survivor who guides individuals and groups through meditation and nature connection in trauma-informed practices. She has been teaching CIRS patients mindfulness meditation specifically since June 2023 as a way to calm the nervous system, support the limbic system and help people develop tools to handle the emotional journey of CIRS recovery.

She offers a weekly meditation class for CIRS folks, grief support through Healing Grief Circles, peer-to-peer emotional support and interactive mindfulness workshops through her Meditation for CIRS community online.
