Are you on the path of recovery for CIRS (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome) and looking to meditate in community? Come along Monday evenings, when you can, and learn how to mindfully explore your body, heart and mind through meditation with other CIRS-folk who “get it.” This weekly drop-in meditation class rooted in the foundations of mindfulness will be taught by Melanie Pensak, Certified Mindfulness Teacher, Shoemaker Proficiency Provider Diplomate and CIRS patient. Each 30- minute session includes: ■ A brief teaching ■ A guided meditation ■ Time for questions and inquiry with the teacher Sessions are designed to be short and accessible for those in all stages of recovery and energy levels. You’re invited to show up however you are, wherever you are that day. The sessions run every Monday @ 4 PM PST/7 PM EST through Zoom online.
